Otis Johnson - Everything, God Is Love '78

I don't normally do this but I felt like this album was so incredible that I should point you guys toward it, I had been searching for this (a physical copy of it i mean) for quite a while, but I just don't want to pay the 200 dollar price tag for it so I instead found a blog with a good digital copy of it instead. All I can say is that this album is somewhere between Timmy Thomas and Famous L Renfroe. Anyway you should really check this out, it's basically a lone black guy at an organ with an ancient drum machine that is pouring out his soul to Jesus, it's very dark and crusty sounding. Truly a strange gem. The only other post where I pointed you toward another site for a download was Ata Kak, and that was some monumental stuff too.

dude, you are soooooo annoying, probably the worst blog follower of all time, but i still love you. This is all I can say...
1. Try to find another copy of this on the net, you wont, so be happy with bad quality. 2. THE RECORD ITSELF IS OF BAD QUALITY, I'VE HEARD IT BEFORE LIVE, IT SOUNDS ALMOST EXACTLY LIKE THIS, even with the 128kbps recording quality, okay it was a little better but still it is a VERY LOW BUDGHET BADLY RECORDED PIECE OF MUSIC. 3. That is part of it's charm!!!!. You're right I said it was a good copy but I was more speaking in hyperbole because I was excited to find ANY copy at all. What I meant was, it's not a great rip BUT it sounds virtually the same either way. But again thank you for your auditing and accountability services of my posts, truly you are the watchdog of HeadlampShovel.
