Sabu - Aurora Borealis LP 1971 (Co-Op Records)

Amazingly I couldn't find any blogs that have a rip of this LP out there so seeing as how I just found a copy in fantastic condition, I figured I would rip it and share the wealth. Some of the tracks are pretty straight forward big band jazz but there are still quite a few classic latin jazz/funk tracks with great composition. It's a European jazz classic so I'm glad to make it available again. Also, I was kinda lazy and did not rip it into individual tracks, instead I have the entire A side as an mp3 and the B side as an mp3, zipped in a .rar, but many of the songs flow into the next by design so its still good listening straight through, or you can cut it up yourselves using something like Audacity, a free editing program that I often use.

not to answer for this blog... but would you waste your time ripping something if you didn't like it enough to rip it and thought your followers would be bored by it?

Know what i mean? We should be grateful for what guys like this do share. I mean, at least he explained why he didn't bother ripping it and not just tease with one track off a killer album like other blogs do.

On the one hand, I am annoyed by your comments teodormihnev... talking shit about free stuff is generally a ridiculous thing to do. And yet, I'm strangely flattered by how rabidly obsessed you are with getting the entire album of the Ebony Singers, generally I would say I agree that who am I to judge what someone likes or doesnt, BUT, in the case of Ebony Singers and other LPs like that, I myself did not even rip the tracks for ME, that's how much I didnt care about them. Why? because it's 45 minutes I don't want to spend ripping those tracks when I have literally 500 other rare weird exciting albums that still need to be ripped. If I had infinite time I promise I would give you everything I had. But as I am a busy man, and I do this for pleasure, I'm gonna have to stick with the formula, but I almost always give you everything I have. And don't knock the metal just cause it's metal, people like it. I don't have a theme or preference here. Just that it isn't available anywhere else and is of interest to ME. Also I got an LP that I'm going to drop tomorrow that will melt all your phaces!

eternally grateful for this and of course for the whole project of this blog! Everyone is aware of people that simply WON'T share something, even if it is impossible to get it in vinyl, like these records...
Again thank you and keep up the hard work!
